A Good Neighbour Scheme
A Community Club that runs fortnightly in The Lee Hall, Dinas Powys
A resource centre that is based at the Murchfield Community Hall and can provide information to residents and other organisations as well as providing photocopying, laminating and other office services.
DPVC also publish a free newsletter, DEPEND, that is delivered to every household in Dinas Powys, St Andrew’s Major and Michaelston-le-pit. They are also involved in researching and publishing a community directory as well as organising fundraising and community events.
Our Health Centre Transport service started on Monday 14th March 2016.
Funded by the Vale of Glamorgan Council through their Greenlinks Scheme and delivered by volunteer drivers from DPVC, the service offers a way of getting to the new Health Centre for the elderly and those with mobility problems.
The service will run in the mornings using our new Volkswagon Caddy adapted vehicle.
